Project description
SIDA-ESS stands for "Strategies for the Integration of Evidence-Based Digital Services in the Treatment of Eating Disorders" and is a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) (duration: 2021 - 2023).
Within the framework of SIDA-ESS, two subprojects are being carried out jointly by FOST and the Clinic for General Internal Medicine and Psychosomatics at Heidelberg University Hospital:
The aim of the first subproject is to systematically investigate the factors that inhibit or promote the integration of digital services for the treatment of eating disorders from the perspective of different professional groups in the German healthcare system. For this purpose, both telephone interviews and online surveys with experts will be conducted in a multi-method approach. In the second subproject, resources for overcoming existing barriers to the implementation of digital services in the context of eating disorders will be developed with the help of focus groups. Furthermore, they will be evaluated in an online survey and finally made permanently available. The findings promise to have practical implications for the successful integration of digital services in eating disorder treatment.
