Klinik-EnergieVersorgungs-Service GmbH (KES) is a commercial subsidiary of the University Hospital, which specialises in the areas of
- energy procurement
- energy trading
- production, supply and distribution of media
media. KES has been supplying both external customers and affiliated companies (University Hospital and its subsidiaries) with electricity and media since 2008. For this purpose, KES procures energy (currently electricity and natural gas) and either sells it directly or uses it for its own needs in order to manufacture and sell products (media) from the Energy Contracting division. KES buys the energy directly externally and also carries out the necessary procurement measures such as tendering, portfolio procurement, etc.
