The project site is Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), which is one of the largest employers in the city of Heidelberg with over 13,500 employees and provides medical care for approximately 80,000 inpatients and 240,000 outpatients annually.

All calculations and evaluations of greenhouse gas emissions and their reduction will refer to the UKHD as a company with its subsidiaries. The UKHD will reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, especially in the area of supply chains, through the measures targeted in KliOL.
