Laundry
The central laundry has always consistently adapted to the needs of clinics and customers. New services (e.g. the towel roll and mop service) and other technical and operational changes were the result.
Our central laundry has increasingly orientated itself towards the service market and has been providing textile services to other hospitals not belonging to the university hospital since 1993. Our customers are supplied on a ward-by-ward basis by lorry or using the in-house automatic goods transport system.
The 14,000 kilograms of laundry are processed every working day on state-of-the-art production machines.
