Marsilius Project: “View of man and Neurosciences“

The neuroscientific project of the naturalization of the spirit has in the meanwhile advanced to a point to raise the question of the relation between brain and person, of the limits of personal freedom as well as of the limits of possible interventions in the brain. The project will address this subject on three dimensions:
1. Effects of the findings of brain research on the social practice in specific individual disciplines; 2. Neurobiological conditions of personal autonomy; 3. Freedom and Determinism.
