Alice Hoeppe

Alice Hoeppe joined the Department of Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine as a Research Associate in September 2022, working on heat protection in urban environments and is a member of the Global Child Health Research group. Her primary research interests encompass several areas. She delves into planetary health, examining the connections between environmental conditions and human well-being. Additionally, her focus explores how locations and environments impact individuals' overall health outcomes. Moreover, she investigates the social determinants of health, analyzing the various societal factors that significantly influence people's health status and access to healthcare.
She holds an Master of Science in Landscape and Wellbeing from the University of Edinburgh, a Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion from Fulda University of Applied Sciences and is a trained occupational therapist.
