Apprenticeship as a cook (m/f/d)

• You will learn how to cook, roast, bake and prepare various dishes
• We will also show you the organisational processes in the kitchen, starting with menu planning, ordering and the proper storage of food
• You will also learn how to deal with our guests in a polite and service-orientated manner
• You will ensure the well-being of our employees with your cooking skills
• We will instruct you in the important hygiene rules for professional cooking

• You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate
• You are enthusiastic about cooking and preparing delicious meals
• You feel comfortable in a clean and hygienic environment
• You are fluent in German and can also read and write in German
• You have a high sense of responsibility as well as a reliable way of working and manual dexterity
• Valid work papers and proof of full immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox and pertussis

In-company training takes place at Klinik Service GmbH at Heidelberg University Hospital.

You will complete your theoretical training in the first year at the Marie-Baum-Schule in Heidelberg(Marie Baum Schule | Heidelberg (mbs-hd.de)) and from the second year onwards at the Johann-Georg-Doertenbach-Schule in Calw(Welcome to the JGDS (jgds-calw.de)).
