Apprenticeship as a pest controller (m/f/d)

• With us, you will learn how to protect the environment, living creatures, buildings and goods from pests and rid them of pest infestations by taking precautionary measures.
• To do this, you will learn about the biology of pests and insects as well as the environmental conditions that favour pest infestation.
• The environmentally friendly and safe use of various treatment agents and methods is an important part of the training.
• You will also work outdoors.
• We will also show you what measures there are for quality assurance and
  hygiene improvement and how you can optimise your own work processes.
• You will also learn all about the laws and regulations that are important for your area.

• You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate
• You are of legal age and already have an EU car driving licence
• You have an interest in biology, chemistry and a good understanding of science
• You have a passion for cleanliness and hygiene
• You are mentally and physically resilient
• You are fluent in German and can also read and write in German
• You have a high sense of responsibility as well as a reliable way of working and manual dexterity
• Valid working papers and proof of full immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox and pertussis

You will complete your theoretical training at the Hans-Schwier-Berufskolleg in Gelsenkirchen. You will be provided with accommodation here.
