As a hospital should be as state of the art as possible, new installations of equipment or major remodelling of existing facilities are inevitable.

Furthermore, remodelling measures are constantly required in the clinics, e.g. for the use of modern large medical equipment or to adapt the space to new treatment methods and procedures.

These measures require professional and thorough planning, which is the responsibility of Department 3.2.5 Technical Planning. It consists of 4 sub-areas: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation/Conveyor Technology and Construction.

The projects are carried out in close co-operation with the users in the clinics, the medical planning group and the ZIM medical technology department.
