Samuel Yao Mayeden

PhD Student (Dr. sc. hum), CHW, BA, MSc

Samuel Mayeden is a health systems development scientist with extensive experience in Community Health Intervention. His professional journey began as a Community Health Nurse, providing critical public health and clinical services in underserved districts of Ghana, West Africa. Samuel has worked with the Ministry of Health, Ghana, and World Vision Ghana, applying his skills in public health, social protection, research, and policy advocacy.

Motivated by a deep commitment to equity, Samuel strives to improve the lives of people living in resource-limited settings worldwide. He has consulted and collaborated on projects with numerous global organizations, including USAID, WHO, the World Bank, GIZ, UNICEF, World Vision International, AMP Health, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and Catholic Relief Services. These partnerships have expanded his expertise in addressing global health challenges.
