Non-communicable disease (NCD) in LMICs
The Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) in LMICs working group focuses on advancing prevention, control, and treatment strategies for NCDs in low- and middle-income countries. Our interdisciplinary team conducts research spanning community screening initiatives to facility-level disease management, including capacity building within healthcare systems. We employ a variety of methodologies, including randomized controlled trials, observational studies, and mixed methods approaches, to generate evidence-based insights. By fostering collaboration between community services and healthcare facilities, we aim to improve health outcomes and enhance the sustainability of NCD interventions in underserved populations.
