Conference Venue

Location:

The workshop "Adaptive Designs and Multiple Testing Procedures 2012" will take place at the Internationales Wissenschaftsforum Heidelberg (IWH). It is a centre sponsored by Heidelberg University for scholarly exchange in all areas of science and academic research.

How to get there:

I. From Heidelberg Main Station

a) Take the S-Bahn (S1 or S2 with destination "Osterburken"). Get off at the "S-Bahnhof Altstadt" (formerly "Karlstor"). The travel time is 4 minutes. It is then a three-minute walk from there to the IWH: Proceed to the tower building (the "Karlstor"), and take the "Hauptstrasse" (narrow street). After a short walk, you will find the IWH on your left. 

b) Go to the northern exit of the train station and take Bus 33 (direction "Köpfel") from the bus stop just outside the train station. Get off at the "S-Bahnhof Altstadt" (formerly "Karlstor"). The travel time is approximately 17 minutes. It is then a three-minute walk from there to the IWH: Proceed to the tower building (the "Karlstor"), and take the "Hauptstrasse" (narrow street). After a short walk, you will find the IWH on your left. 

II. By Car

a) Take autobahn A5 to exit 38 ("Heidelberg Mitte"). At the end of the autobahn, get in the left lane and take local road B37 towards Eberbach/Mosbach along the Neckar river.  At "Karlstor", the second traffic light after the old bridge ("Alte Brücke"), turn right into the "Hauptstrasse" (narrow street). The IWH is on your left. The nearest parking opportunities are the parking garage "Parkhaus 13" at the Karlsplatz, and parking garage "Parkhaus 12" at the Kornmarkt. A fee is charged. It is then a three-minute walk from there to the IWH. 

b) Take autobahn A6 to the exit "Sinsheim". Turn onto local road B37 towards Neckargemünd and drive into Heidelberg along the Neckar river.  At "Karlstor", turn left into the "Hauptstrasse" (narrow street). The IWH is on your left. The nearest parking opportunities are the parking garage "Parkhaus 13" at the Karlsplatz, and parking garage "Parkhaus 12" at the Kornmarkt. A fee is charged. It is then a three-minute walk from there to the IWH.
