Revenue Management division
The Revenue Management division performs revenue assurance and revenue development tasks within the finance department of Heidelberg University Hospital.
This includes the management of patient data through to invoicing for all outpatient and inpatient treatments and medical contract services. Medical controllers process all invoice audits and audits of G-BA structural requirements by the Medical Service and support strategic projects for the entire hospital.
Contracts are negotiated with health insurance companies and co-operation partners for revenue development and new service areas are coordinated with the state hospital planning department.
Commercial quality and risk management coordinates the University Hospital's quality and risk reports and supports structural audits and QM projects with a commercial focus.
In the area of cooperation, it is important to maintain and further develop the network with hospitals in the region and beyond. The division is also responsible for the management of two medical care centres in the Group. The division is involved in the strategic design and implementation of new forms of care and the various options for outpatient care.
