Medical Cooperations staff unit

The remit of the Medical Cooperations staff unit covers all issues relating to the University Hospital's cooperation with external partners and subsidiaries in the area of direct and indirect patient care. This includes in particular

• the processing of current cooperation enquiries
• supporting the Executive Board in strategic issues and decisions relating to medical co-operations
• the economic evaluation of planned cooperations and the service areas in indirect patient care
• Coordination and project management for the establishment of new collaborations in consultation with the relevant clinics and business divisions (including coordination of key financial data, contractual arrangements and preparation of necessary committee resolutions)
• implementing and monitoring the financial flows agreed with cooperation partners (e.g. cost reimbursements)
• Regular reporting and ongoing review of the key business data of existing collaborations
