Leon Schütze

MD candidate

Leon Schuetze is a medical student at the Medical Faculty Mannheim at University of Heidelberg. During his medical studies he developed a keen interest in health economics and health system research worldwide.
For his Dr. med/MD thesis, he examines the implementation of an information management system for health insurance schemes in Tanzania using a mixed methods approach.

Besides his MD thesis, he is part of a surgical study group currently conducting a student led multicentric prospective clinical trial on postoperative mobilization (SIGMA).
