Agrin Zauyani Putri, DVM, MScIH
Research Assistant
Agrin works as a research assistant at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, where she supports the Design and Implementation Research Group. Her research interests focus on health interventions that bridge the gap between human and animal health, as well as environmental health. During her master's program, she explored the implementation of One Health strategies for zoonotic neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in Southeast Asia.
In addition to her thesis work, Agrin collaborates on various research projects centered around climate change and noncommunicable diseases. She also manages the development of a MOOC and innovative training program titled "Qualitative Research in Global Health: Theory, Methods, and Analysis," as part of the GLOHRA program.
Prior to her role as a research assistant, Agrin worked as a veterinarian in Indonesia, gaining practical experience in the field. Subsequently, she pursued a master's degree in International Health at the institute to expand her knowledge and expertise in the field of global health.
