Dr. Julia Rohr
Researcher
Julia is an infectious disease epidemiologist and public health researcher with over 10 years of experience in leading and implementing observational and interventional health studies. Her current research focuses on HIV/AIDS among older adults, vaccination coverage, and the design and analysis of clinical trials. She has conducted research in South Africa, Tanzania, Turkey, Ghana and Kenya, with a focus on HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, and reproductive health. Before joining HIGH, Julia served as the Project Director for HAALSA, a longitudinal cohort study of health and aging in South Africa. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Boston University and maintains a Research Scientist appointment at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
