Leon Schütze

MD candidate

Leon Schütze is a medical student at the Medical Faculty Mannheim at University of Heidelberg.
His primary interest lies in health system financing and optimization. For his Dr. med/MD thesis, he examines the implementation of an Information management system for health insurance schemes using both quantitative and qualitative methods (mixed methods).

Besides his research at HIGH, he has developed an interest in surgery and clinical research. Consequently, he is leading a team in Mannheim conducting a student initiated multicentric prospective clinical trial on postoperative mobilization.
