Despite all pre- and post-approval research activities, there are still many unanswered questions about the optimal use of drugs. We try to make therapies as effective and safe as possible and to close relevant knowledge gaps through clinical studies, in vitro approaches, process analyses and epidemiological evaluations. To this end, we lead or participate in local, national and international research networks and integrate the results into everyday (clinical) life through publications, software developments and our training and teaching activities.
