Further training as a specialist in clinical pharmacology (48 months) and internal medicine (12 months)
The Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacoepidemiology is an official training centre and has
- full authorisation of 48 months for further training as a specialist in clinical pharmacology at the Medical Clinic, Paediatric Clinic and Thorax Clinic and
- 12 months of authorisation to train as a specialist in internal medicine at the Medical Clinic.
Both training authorisations apply to the Further training regulation of the Baden-Württemberg State Medical Association, dated 18 May 2020.
This makes our clinically oriented department, which is part of the Centre for Internal Medicine, one of the very few places in Germany where training as a clinical pharmacologist can be offered from a single source. Doctors who wish to expand their knowledge of clinical pharmacology for a year on the path to internal medicine are also very welcome to join us for further training.
Training positions are advertised in the press, but enquiries are always welcome and should include the applicant's CV.
