CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY AND PHARMACOEPIDEMIOLOGY
Drugs are still among the most effective therapeutic measures in medicine. Despite many decades of (further) development, today's therapies are still not effective for all patients, nor are they without side effects.
Therefore, great efforts continue to be necessary to make new, hopeful substances available safely and quickly and to use existing therapies optimally.
Since its foundation, the aspiration and constant goal of the Department has been to dedicate our multifaceted, translational spectrum of services and research approaches to the finding of practicable, everyday solutions for patients and healthcare professionals.
In our Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacoepidemiology, more than 66 employees from 14 different disciplines work every day to directly improve the use of medicines in direct patient care. In addition, we support the Heidelberg campus with comprehensive services and generate software solutions for the world.
If you would like to join our multidisciplinary team, we look forward to receiving your application at any time!
