Dr. Daniel J Bromberg
Group Lead, Substance Use and Global Health
Daniel J. Bromberg, Ph.D., is a public health researcher specializing in substance use, incarceration, and displacement. He has recevied a Humboldt Fellowship as well as NIH F31, F32, T32, and D43 grants. As a 2021-2022 Fogarty Global Health Equity Scholar in Ukraine, he conducted research with incarcerated individuals living with substance use disorders before transitioning to study the needs of displaced populations following the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation. His work centers on harm reduction, health systems strengthening, and implementation science to improve care for people with substance use disorders.
