Ángela León Cáceres

Ángela León Cáceres is a multilingual internationalist professional and mixed-methods public health researcher, specialist in gender-transformative programming, human rights, and community-based approaches. She is a facilitator of multi-sectoral and people-centred collective processes and capable of projecting plans to position human rights, underpinning the importance of public health for human development. Ángela works in multidisciplinary, highly complex contexts, emergencies and crises, devoting her work to vulnerable and at-high risk populations in Asia, Latin America and Africa. She serves as member of the Developing Country NGO delegation to the Global Fund Board and as Global Member to the TB Community Advisory Board, where she oversees and advises on clinical trial protocol reviews.
