Nicola Krippl

Doctoral student

Nicola Krippl is a medical student in her practical year with a broad background in the social sciences. She became interested in political communication, counselling and doctor-patient communication early on in her academic career. In addition to her studies, she has already worked in the field of communication workshops and health prevention and has undergone further training in systemic counselling. In her doctoral thesis, she combines these interests and researches how climate-sensitive health counselling can succeed. She is investigating which topics are considered acceptable by patients, how patients want to talk to their physician about the connections between climate change and health and which socio-economic characteristics have an influence on this.
