Dr. med. univ. Kathrin Elisabeth Zangerl, M.Sc.
Research group leader „Global Child Health“
Kathrin, an accomplished pediatric specialist, has accumulated extensive clinical experience in both Germany and Nepal for more than ten years.
This invaluable hands-on experience prompted Kathrin to shift her research focus towards child participatory action, utilizing both methodological approaches and exploring the intersection of climate change and health. Moreover, she places significant emphasis on utilizing qualitative methods to advance child health policy within the context of climate change.
