Shahrzad Rahimi-Naghani

Shahrzad Rahimi-Naghani is a Public Health researcher with a midwifery background who focuses on malaria and sexual and reproductive health with 11 years of extensive experience in the field of health and education. This includes midwifery, professional human health and social work activities as well as public and international health and tropical medicine (HIV, sexual diseases, domestic violence). Shahrzad is a Chartered professional member of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Iranian Midwifery Association, and Iranian Medical Organization.
She graduated from Charité Universitätmedizin Berlin with a master's degree in International Health. During her studies at Charité, she focused on tropical medicine. Her findings utilized by a cross sectional study involving sexual and reproductive health. As of now, Shahrzad is a Dr. sc. Hum student at the Institute of Global Health. Her dissertation is concerned with malaria elimination in Iran.
