BALÓ'S CONCENTRIC SCLEROSIS (BCS)

Baló`s concentric sclerosis: Diagnosis, prognosis and immunopathology

Principal investigators: Sven Jarius, Brigitte Wildemann

Baló's concentric sclerosis (BCS) is an inflammatory disease of the central nervous system characterized by concentric rings of demyelination. Our work focuses on investigating potential differences in immunopathogenesis, treatment and outcome between BCS and conventional multiple sclerosis (MS).
